5 Things Happen to YOU When You Trust In Christ!

Do you know what happens to YOU the very precise instant you are SAVED by grace through faith by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ’s shed blood at the cross of Calvary as payment for your sins? There are FIVE…count them…FIVE things that happen to you in the twinkling of an eye by which YOU ARE ETERNALLY SECURE! Do you know how fast the twinkling of an eye is?  According to Google, it is about one billionth of a second.  The following five things happen to you that fast after you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. You can easily remember them by this simple acronym C.R.I.B.S. And here they are, in no order of importance, because they ALL occur simultaneously:   1)  You are spiritually CIRCUMCISED: Imagine a chain affixing or constraining your condemned soul and spirit to your dead, sinful body.  When you place your trust in Christ, at that very moment, your corrupt body of sin—that is, your sinful nature—is cut off by the operation of God and you are made alive, risen with Christ!  You a

What Did Jesus Christ Look Like?

Have you ever wondered what the Lord Jesus looked like during His earthly ministry?  Well, this video teaching might provide a little fun insight. I apologize for the brief spurt of loud music at the beginning of the video if it startles you. Enjoy and God bless! Oh, and don't forget to... 2 Timothy 2:15 "STUDY  to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the WORD of TRUTH."

What Does it Mean to be SAVED?

This post is not exhaustive in any way, but does provide a glimpse into the definition of the ensuing question: What does it mean to be saved? Have you ever heard of the term “SAVED” and thought, SAVED from what?  What does SAVED mean?  Well, in biblical terms, it can mean many different things depending on the context of the scriptural passage. In the general sense, it might mean for a thing to be preserved or rescued from harm or simply kept, guarded, or stored away for stockpiling or protection.  For instance, people oftentimes speak of money that they have “SAVED” for a rainy day, rather than squandering it on frivolous purchases.  This is a common usage of the word, and it is likely not thought twice about as to the meaning of the word in everyday dialogue.  In another sense, you may have read the news or heard of a story about a person who was cast from a ship overboard at night into the perilous waves of the ocean, treading water for countless minutes, without hope, nearly drown

Did GOD Know it Before it Happened?

Did God know Satan would fall? Spoiler alert: Absolutely. Does God know your decisions before you make them? The short answer is, YES! God knows ALL things. Our GOD is OMNISCIENT—all-seeing, all-knowing, and having INFINITE knowledge. Wester's 1828 dictionary defines  OMNISCIENT as having universal knowledge or knowledge of all things; infinitely knowing; all-seeing; as the  omniscient  God. If God was deficient in any area of understanding and knowledge, then He could not be God. Plain and simple. Let God be true and every man a liar, as His Word states in Romans 3:4 , which I paraphrased. God knows YOUR thoughts before they are birthed as a seed in your mind.  He knows the outcome of an event before a person, even Satan, who was at first Lucifer, puts it into action.  God knew his HEART and He knows yours too! What did Lucifer plan in his heart? Isaiah 14:12-15 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O  Lucifer , son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst wea
